The holiday season is gearing up, and whether you're new to pie making or just want to freshen up your skills, baker and food writer Polina Chesnakova has just the thing for you.
In this workshop, Polina will teach you everything you need to know when it comes to the art of pie. She'll cover every step of the process—from making flaky pie dough by hand, to rolling out the dough and assembling the pie, to parbaking, and to perfecting your filling and design—while sharing all of her tips and tricks to make it as fun and enjoyable as possible. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the class.
Polina will cover both double-crust and single-crust pies and will teach you how to make her classic Apple Pie and her Spiced Pumpkin Pie. While most of the class will be demo-style, the pie-dough portion of the class will be "bake-along."
How this works: This is a demonstration class offered live via Zoom. Two days before class we will email you the recipe packet and a link to complete your registration via Zoom and get your personalized access link. Even if you can't make it to the class live, you will have access to a recorded version of the class afterwards. Online classes are non-refundable. Class is limited to 30 students.
