Join us for our first ever Book Larder Field Trip! We’ll be heading to the beautiful Snoqualmie valley to take a tour of some of our favorite Duvall gems. We’ll start with Cherry Valley Dairy to check out their herd of Jersey cows and sample the beautiful cheese, butter, and other dairy products they create. You can look forward to learning what it means to be a sustainable dairy and take a peek into cheese production.
Next, we’ll hop over to Koster’s Farm to see a truly family run operation and learn about all the work and wisdom that goes into small-scale fruit and vegetable production. This is a great opportunity for aspiring and veteran gardeners alike, or for anyone who simply wants a better sense of where their food comes from.
We’ll finish the afternoon with lunch made from Cherry Valley Dairy products and produce from Koster’s Farm.
