Cooking Class: Summer Fruit Desserts: Cobbler, Crisp and Buckle

Join Brian Medford from Idlewild Biscuits and Bakes to celebrate the bounty of the Pacific Northwest’s seasonal fruits by tucking them in a cobbler, a crisp and a buckle. Using simple techniques Brian will show you how to create rustic desserts with endless variations.  Plus, we’ll demystify the pie, cobbler, grunt, slump, crisp, pandowdy, buckle, and fool naming confusion. Bring your apron, this is a hands-on class.

The menu includes:  Rhubarb, apple and vanilla crisp; Blueberry skillet cobbler; and "any-berry-you’ve got" buckle.

Class is limited to 10 students. Please note that class reservations are not refundable.
