Join Brian Medford, of Idewild Biscuits and Bakes pop up- bakery to learn the basics of creating classic Southern buttermilk biscuits. Brian will teach you tricks for creating a flaky and tender biscuit at home as well how to create the perfect sausage gravy. He’ll also show you how to create a sweet version of an embellished biscuit perfect for dessert or breakfast. Come hungry, when you’re done baking, you’ll feast on the fruits of your labor as Brian discusses biscuit lore, biscuit variations and biscuit fixins’. Be sure to bring an apron and rolling pin (this is a hands on class) and your Southern drawl.
The menu includes: Southern Buttermilk Biscuits, Pork Sausage Gravy, Carmelized Onion and Gruyere Biscuits, and Sweet Biscuits.
