Join chef Olaiya Land on an exploration of the food of Portugal. Olaiya will show you how to use the unique flavor profiles of Portugal to create a delicious and seasonal menu. She will also discuss her experiences traveling and eating in Portugal, where she leads food tours each year.
The menu will include: Caldo Verde (potato, kale and sausage soup), Broa (Portuguese yeasted cornbread), Bacalhau com natas (potato and codfish gratin), and Toucinho do céu (dense almond cake with egg custard).
Class is limited to 10 students and includes dinner. Please note that reservations are non-refundable. All Portuguese books will have a 10% discount on the evening of class.
