Outdoor food doesn't have to be bland and rehydrated. In this class, Anna Brones, author of Best Served Wild, will share tips and recipes for improving your outdoor cooking game. We will cover everything from best packing methods, calculating how much food to bring and the basics of a good spice kit. We will also make and taste some food, including a few make-at-home recipes, like DIY gourmet hot chocolate mix and peanut butter bars, as well as some go-to recipes for making at camp, from appetizers to dessert. Menu includes: tartines with goat cheese and honey; rice noodles and peanut sauce; and fruit compote with oat crisp.
