Summer isn't complete with out homemade ice cream! We are excited to welcome local pastry chef Marianna Stepniewsi in to teach you how to make delicious ice cream at home. You will learn some basic (and not so basic) ice cream science, how to use an ice cream maker with a freezer bowl vs compressor ice cream machines, and what is the difference between ice cream, gelato, and sorbet. And to top it off you will learn how to make delicious toppings!
The menu includes: Bittersweet Chocolate Ice Cream, Pistachio Gelato, Plum Ginger Sorbet, Hot Fudge, Salted Caramel Sauce, and Marshmallow Fluff.
Class is limited to 10 students and includes a light supper and a lot of ice cream. Please note that class reservations are not refundable.
