Cooking Class: Cheesemaking at Home

Hands on class. Includes generous samples of cheese, bread, and spreads.

Meghan Mckenna is the cheesemaker at Cherry Valley Dairy and is currently working on her new farmstead creamery in Sedro-Woolley . She has worked in dairy farms in France, Ireland, and Italy, and she developed the “Hand-Stretched Mozzarella” program at Metropolitan Market. Join Meghan as we explore the wonderful world of homemade cheese. We will stretch fresh mozzarella and make pillowy ricotta from local milk. You will take home about a pound of cheese in addition to recipes and techniques for making cheese in your home kitchen.

Class is limited to 10 students. Please note that class reservations are non-refundable.
