We're delighted to team with the crew at Bar Melusine to welcome chef Joshua McFadden of Portland's wildly popular Ava Gene's, to Seattle as we celebrate his first cookbook, Six Seasons: A New Way With Vegetables. After years racking up culinary cred at New York City restaurants like Lupa, Momofuku, and Blue Hill, McFadden managed the trailblazing Four Season Farm in coastal Maine, where he developed an appreciation for every part of the plant and learned to coax the best from vegetables at each stage of their lives. He then brought that ingenuity with vegetables to Ava Gene's, and now shares his perspective of farmer and chef with his brand new book.
Join us as Chef Bobby Palmquist crafts a 3-course menu inspired by Six Seasons. You'll enjoy a fabulous meal, meet one of the country's brightest young chefs, and take home a signed copy of Six Seasons, sure to inspire many vegetable-focused meals no matter the season.
Reservation includes 4-course meal, wine, service, and a signed copy of the $35 book. Please note that reservations are non-refundable.
Can't attend this event but still want a signed copy of the book? Order it here for shipping and instore pickup.
