Join us as we team up with chef Brandon Pettit and the crew at Dino's for our premier book event in Dino's brand new event space. We can't think of a better way to kick off the holiday season than with the follow up to Portland & Brooklyn restaurateur Andy Ricker's wildly popular book, POK POK. A celebration of the thrill and spirit of Thai drinking food, The Drinking Food of Thailand brings the same level of authority, with a more laid-back approach. Just as America has salted peanuts, wings, and nachos, Thailand has its own roster of craveable snacks: spicy, salty, and/or sour, they are perfect accompaniments for a few drinks and the company of good friends.
You'll sample a few of these snacks and cocktails inspired by Andy's Whiskey Soda Lounge in Dino's new event space on Capitol Hill. Seattle Met's Allecia Vermillion will lead the conversation, discussing Andy's Thai drinking adventures. And you'll take home a signed copy of the book, perfect for any lover of snacks, booze, or Thai food on your holiday list (maybe that's you....?)
Reservation includes appetizers, cocktails, and a signed copy of the $35 book. Please note that reservations are non-refundable.
