Lauri Kranz & Dean Kuipers
Edible Gardens LA founder Lauri Kranz shares her secrets for planning, planting, growing, and maintaining luscious edible gardens, no matter the setting or size of the plot. Through gorgeous gardens created for her well-known clientele, including James Beard award–winning chefs, celebrities, rock stars, and more, Lauri shares her essential methods for growing abundant organic food. This practical guide is built around Lauri’s philosophy that nourishment and beauty are not separate goals. It’s also at the forefront of a gardening revolution, where more and more people are craving a patch of land for growing and the trend is toward edible gardens over ornamental gardens. A Garden Can Be Anywhere reveals Lauri’s knack for providing both beauty and bounty in her clients’ outdoor spaces.
We're delighted to partner with Chef Emily Dann of The Corson Building to welcome Lauri and her co-author Dean Kuipers to Seattle. We can't imagine a more perfect spot to celebrate a book focused on creating edible gardens in sometimes unlikely places. Emily and her team will serve a 4-course brunch menu with aperitif and rose, and we'll be there with books available for purchase. Lauri and Dean will greet guests, answer questions, and of course, sign books! Join us for great food and conversation in one of Seattle's most idyllic spots.
Reservations may be booked through the Corson Building (choose the 11am brunch seating) and include 4-course brunch, aperitif, and a glass of rose. Tax and 20% service charge additional. Copies of the $40 book will be availabe for purchase at the event.
