What we cooked for Thanksgiving


Yes its true, the staff of your favorite Seattle cookbook store ate quite well this Thanksgiving. We made some classics and also introduced our tables to some new dishes from recent cookbooks. Take a look at some of our menus below!


Jen made:

Mira made:

  • Cornbread Stuffing using the cornbread recipe from Homegrown and the stuffing recipe inspired by Edna Lewis
  • Roasted Beets & Citrus recipe from Six Seasons
  • Pear Bourbon Crumble Pie from Four &  Twenty Blackbirds Pie Book


Abby made:

  • Rye and Cheddar Biscuits from Dinner
  • Roasted Butternut and Squash Quiche with Sage Browned Butter from The Violet Bakery Cookbook
  • Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Hot Honey Browned butter from Dining In
  • Cumin Roasted Cauliflower and Dates with Tahini and Pepitas from Dining In
  • Curry Roasted Carrots with Seeds and Labne from Dining In
  • Slow Roasted Salmon with Caper Herb Salsa from Salt Fat Acid Heat
