    Anna Berman: Class:  Knife Skills

Back by popular demand!  We have all heard that the only truly necessary tools in the kitchen are a good pan and a good knife.  What if you don’t really know how to use that knife correctly?  Anna Berman, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and local culinary instructor, will take us through a series of vegetables, demonstrate different cuts, and show us the most safe and efficient way to use our knives.  She will also discuss how to take proper care of your knife and how to choose if you are looking to purchase a new one. This is a hands-on class, so please bring your own knife and (small) cutting board.  We will provide plastic bags to bring home all your chopped veggies, so you’ll have a jump start on the week’s dinner menu!

This class is limited to 10 participants.
